In 2015 and 2016, CUCUBAU toy shop organized for several moths, 40 LEGO and LEGO DUPLO building contests. These were meant for children between de ages of two and ten. The contests took place in the shop, benefiting from an important investment, which consisted in a table for twenty children and thousands of LEGO pieces.
I was asked to voluntary present the contests, to be a member of the jury, to announce the winners of each contest and to give out the prizes.
The Young CUCU-constructor contest was a great success for Baia Mare in which 350 children took part. The children were accompanied by their parents and the list of the winners was exposed in the window of the shop. All children got presents from the LEGO Company and CUCUBAU gave them a diploma of attendance and the winners were give prizes which consisted in money. It was a real pleasure for me to be involved in the realization of such an event and to see so many wonderful creations of children’s imagination.
