Rebeka's Bus
My friend Roli’s daughter, Rebeka, has always wanted a bus from the official LEGO set 7641, the one which we always used to use for our exhibited dioramas in the Cucubau shop. After several refusals from her father, so I’ve decided to create a special bus just for her. Having only one type of side windows and using printed pieces from the 850686 LEGO Notebook, it came out a special bus for REBEKA.

WORKS FOR COMPETITIONS
The combined LEGO Theme Creation contest (RoLUG, 2014)
In October 2014 I took part in a competition organized by RoLUG, the group of Romanian LEGO fans. The challenge consisted in us having to create a project by combining two official LEGO sets from different themes and it wasn’t necessary to use all the pieces. I competed with two creations: Emma’s Revenge and The MOC Machine. My intention was to take part in the contest and the pleasure of creating rather than winning. As I won 2nd and 3rd place I donated my prizes to the runner up.
Emma’s Revenge
Having read some mean commentaries in the past about the colors of the Friends LEGO sets (they are more likely for girls), I wanted to make “justice” by choosing as themes Architecture (21013 Big Ben) and Friends (41002 Emma’s Karate Class). For this creation I conceived a karate training centre and through its window the tower can be seen. Next I sectioned the tower and I tried to enhance the cut on two sides by a purple flame.
The story of the creation:
“You’ve mocked the destructive force of the Friends’ purple-pink ray…”
Emma’s revenge is near!
She didn’t like the view of St. Stefan’s Tower from the window of her karate school and she decided that that day’s lesson would be a crushing one.
“Purple-pink clouds circle above the Architecture Theme; the revenge for the commentaries is near….”

The MOC Machine
I was fascinated by the idea of a piece-harvester-machine, which instead of creating hay bundles, would create towers. From the Architecture Theme (21013 Big Ben) and Technic Theme (8274 Combine Harvester – which I haven’t modified too much) the resulted works was more like a joke.
*MOC, in LEGO fans “language”, means My Own Creation.
