About me
Being an engineer, I’ve worked 18 years in FMCG sales (Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, Beck’s… and other top brands). At my career’s peak in 2013, after 5 years as an Area Sales Manager, I‘ve decided to take a break and focus on the wonderful world of LEGO bricks.
The passion began in childhood during a visit to Hungary in 1981, but having no access to LEGO bricks in Romania I rediscovered relatively late, in 2010. Under the influence of my friend Olajos Rolland owner of toy store Cucubau, I bought the first LEGO sets with which I could start a collection.
“I feel huge and I see monstrously (…)
in a society without principles.”

My favorites themes are LEGO Architecture and Technic but also LEGO City which allows me to dream about childhood. The most satisfaction I find in replicating castles and buildings in scale. Visiting countless castles in Western European countries for years I feel attracted by the charm of the old medieval towns, especially the buildings with towers, fortresses, castles and palaces.
After 12 years of breathing only LEGO I have the satisfaction of designing many creations, owning a pretty vast collection of sets and bricks and meeting many new friends worldwide who share this passion. I was greatly inspired by Grigore Tomoiagă from Maramureş and Dr. Robert Carney from Illinois, US.
A great opportunity, which I’d paid for with hard work and time, was when I got the chance to create a large layout every 3-4 months (1.2 m X 3.5 m) for the visitors of Cucubau, the store with windows visible to all passersby, on the busiest sidewalk in my hometown, Baia Mare.
In October 2019 I started the ambitious project of creating my own version of Neuschwanstein Castle on a scale that would allow the replication from LEGO bricks of as many details and features of this engaging architectural gem as possible. Working meticulously and trying to achieve the impossible in the case of each and every detail, I managed to complete this design in two and a half years by toiling daily for over 10 hours.
With the help of Ana-Maria Juhász, this website takes the place of dozens of emails with pictures that I used to fill my friends’ computers with.
I’ll be here, whenever you think of me!
