Diorama #1

Mounted on October 25, 2014, it was the first work for Cucubau storefront.

I benefited from the courtesy of Grigore Tomoiaga and his “Old village of Maramures” LEGO famous exhibitions at home and abroad. Besides this scene of Maramureş I have also prepared a medieval castle with a scene of siege and a small town crossed by a motorized LEGO train. I didn’t want the modern train to pass through the medieval scene, so I built a few metres long tunnel undergoing the castle, this meant a great challenge in the terms of construction. The medieval scene was separated from the town by a modern “fairytale dense forest”. The castle is presented in details on Diorama #2.
