Being a part of several different dioramas for over a year, time came in December 2015 to undo once and for all the Medieval Castle. In the first diorama a train tunnel was crossing through it; in the second diorama it was part of the medieval battle, being attacked by the dragon’s army and in the third diorama it represented a tourist objective “ in the modern times”, which was visited by minifigures “tourists”.
I’ve decided to demolish it in the 5th diorama with the help of some official LEGO sets from the City theme “Building & Demolishing”. Day by day, for over ten days, the castle was being demolished gradually with LEGO machines, using cranes, trucks and wagons and the pieces were finally removed. At the end, King Mathias, who was watching over the demolishing process every day, drank a glass of champagne with the superintendent. The Medieval Castle made history, leaving room for other creations.
